Our story

Started with a simple idea

Inkopio was founded in 2014 with a simple idea: sourcing and managing consultants should be easier, more transparent and less time-consuming for everyone involved.

What started as a small team with experience from procurement, consulting and technology has grown into a platform used by organisations across multiple industries and countries.

After more than a decade, we still approach our work with the same curiosity and ambition to keep improving.

Built together with our customers

We don’t believe systems are built in isolation. The best solutions are created through continuous dialogue and long-term partnerships.

A big part of how Inkopio has evolved comes from close collaboration with our customers. We’ve spent a lot of time listening, learning and building alongside procurement teams, managers and operational users who work with consultant procurement every day.

This has helped shape a platform that supports a wide range of processes and use cases – from sourcing and contracts to onboarding, reporting and supplier collaboration.

A team with different backgrounds

We are a team of entrepreneurs, engineers, consultants and procurement professionals who genuinely enjoy working closely with customers and solving practical problems together.

Some of us come from procurement and consulting, others from product development and technology. What we have in common is a strong interest in building things that are useful, intuitive and create value in everyday work.

We keep a pragmatic and humble approach in how we work – both internally and with our customers.

Based in Stockholm, working across Europe

Our office is located at Epicenter in the middle of Stockholm, where most of our team works closely together on product development, customer collaboration and support.

While we are a local Swedish company, many of our customers operate internationally and manage consultants across multiple countries, suppliers and markets.

This has given us valuable insight into the complexity organisations face when trying to create structure and visibility around external workforce management.

Making complex processes a little simpler

Many organisations still manage consultant procurement through spreadsheets, emails and disconnected processes. We know from experience how time-consuming and difficult that can be.

Our goal has always been to simplify – to make processes clearer, more structured and easier to manage, while allowing flexibility for different ways of working.

Over time, we’re also investing in areas like integrations, automation and AI to help customers reduce manual work and improve visibility across their consultant operations.

Long-term relationships matter to us

Today, we work with customers across sectors such as technology, telecom, banking, industrial companies and the public sector.

What we appreciate most are the long-term relationships we build along the way. Several of our customers have worked with us for many years.

We are always happy to connect new companies with existing customers who can share their experiences of working with Inkopio firsthand.

At the end of the day, we see ourselves not only as a software company, but as a team that cares about helping our customers succeed over time.
