Folksam selects Inkopio to strengthen its consultant procurement

Folksam has entered into an agreement with Inkopio for the implementation of a Vendor Management System (VMS) to support the procurement and management of consultants and external workforce. The initiative is part of Folksam’s ongoing efforts to drive cost efficiency through more streamlined processes and improved decision making within indirect procurement.

Through Inkopio’s CPro platform, Folksam will gain a centralized and digital solution supporting the entire consultant lifecycle, from demand and contracting to time reporting and follow-up. The solution enables a more efficient process, improved quality through enhanced data control and insights to drive continuous improvements and cost control.

“For us, it is essential to have clear and efficient processes for how we procure and manage consultants. With Inkopio’s platform, we gain better visibility, stronger governance, and a modern system that supports our needs going forward,” says Matias Åkesson, Procurement Business Partner, Folksam.

The implementation has recently commenced and will be carried out in close collaboration between Procurement and IT, with a focus on user friendliness and rapid adoption across the organization.

“We are very proud to have earned the trust to support Folksam in further developing their consultant procurement. It is rewarding to see that our continuous focus on product development and close collaboration with all our customers keeps strengthening our offering and once again leads to being selected. We are both proud and humble, and we will work hard to help Folksam establish an efficient process and create lasting value in their consultant procurement,” says Ola Qviberg, CEO of Inkopio.
